On Thursday 4 November, Israac hosted the University of Sheffield School of Architecture for their Live Project Public Presentations. Israac were just one of the clients of 19 projects in Sheffield and further afield, that were exhibited and presented at Vestry Hall in the culmination of 6 weeks work.
As well as hearing about an incredible array of amazing projects, the event served as a test for some of the possible future uses of the hall that the Israac Live Project group had been developing. This included opening up the courtyard as a cafe space, using the outhouse as a meeting room and exhibiting work in some of the smaller rooms of the Hall.
The event finished with 150 students and staff enjoying a meal of Somali food in the hall which was a wonderful end to an inspiring day.
